Michael Brandner (born 13 February 1995) is an Austrian footballer. He plays for FC Blau-Weiß Linz in the Austrian Bundesliga as a midfielder.
Career
[change | change source]He started playing football for ASK Salzburg. Then he went on to the Red Bull youth academy, where he played in all teams. For the 2013–14 season he was transferred to FC Liefering. [1] In 2016 he went on loan to SV Ried, 2017 he went to SC Wiener Neustadt. 2019 he joined FC Blau-Weiß Linz, where he is still playing. In the 2022-23 season they won the Second league and were promoted to the Austrian Football Bundesliga.
Michael Brandner also played for the Autrian football national youth teams from U16 up to U20. With the U19 team he reached the 3rd place in the European Championship.
