Mick Rock

Michael David Rock (1948 – 18 November 2021)[1] was a British photographer. He was born in London.

He was known for photographing rock music acts. He photographed Queen, David Bowie, T. Rex, Syd Barrett, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Joan Jett, Talking Heads, Roxy Music, Thin Lizzy, Geordie, Mötley Crüe, and Blondie.[2]

Rock died on 18 November 2021 in New York City, aged 72.[3]
