Mingus Ah Um is a studio album by American musician Charles Mingus. It was released in October 1959 by Columbia Records.[1] It was his first album recorded for Columbia. The album cover shows a painting made by S. Neil Fujita. The album was put into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013.[2]
