Miri Regev

Miriam "Miri" Regev (Hebrew: מִרְיָם "מִירִי" רֶגֶב; born Miriam Siboni on 26 May 1965) is an Israeli politician. She was a Brigadier-general in the Israel Defense Forces. She is a member of the Knesset for Likud since 2009. She was Minister of Culture and Sport and as Minister of Transportation. Regev was born in Kiryat Gat, Israel.

In August 2021, Regev announced she would run for the Likud leadership to replace Benjamin Netanyahu.[1]
