Moutier is a town in western Switzerland. Util the end of 2025, it was part of the administrative district of Jura bernois in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. There were two votes, whether they wanted to be with Bern or Jura. In the last one, a majority voted for Jura. Since the beginning of 2026, the town is part of the canton if Jura .
