A night game, also called a nighter, is a sports game that happens at night. Depending on the sport, this can be done either with floodlights or with the usual low-light conditions. The term "night game" is typically used only for sports usually held outdoors. Although indoor sports often happen at night, these events are have lights regardless of the time of day they happen.
