Noel Cobb

Noel Cobb (21 March 1938 – 2 January 2015) was an American-born British philosopher, psychologist, and author. He has published mostly books of poetry and non-fiction. He founded a charitable trust The London Convivium for Archetypal Studies. He is the author of Prospero's Island: The Secret Alchemy at the Heart of The Tempest. He also worked with R. D. Laing.

Cobb was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied in Oslo, Norway from 1959 to 1966. He also studied the Tibetan language, Buddhism, therapy, and meditation in Nepal and India.

Cobb died on 2 January 2015 at the age of 75.[1]
