Noel Hush
Noel Sydney Hush AO DSc FRS FNAS FAA FRACI FRSN (15 December 1924 – 20 March 2019) was an Australian chemist. He was known for his work at the University of Sydney where he was Head of Theoretical Chemistry. His main focuses were theoretical chemistry, chemical physics and quantum chemistry.
Early life and education[change | change source]
Hush moved to Britain in 1950, and worked at the University of Manchester and the University of Bristol. He returned to Australia in 1971, and began working at the University of Sydney. He retired in 1989.[1]
Hush was born in Sydney, New South Wales. He died on 20 March 2019, at the age of 94.[1]
