Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. (born November 5, 1992), also known by his initials OBJ, is an American football wide receiver. He plays for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He has also played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, and Los Angeles Rams.

He played college football with the LSU Tigers.

In 2022, he won Super Bowl LVI as a member of the Rams. They defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.

He was recruited out of Isidore Newman as a three-year recruit by ESPN and a four-star recruit by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.[1][2][3]

Beckham started his career by playing college football at Louisiana State University for the Tigers. He caught his first college touchdown in a 47–21 against the West Virginia Mountaineers on September 24, 2011.[4]

Beckham helped the Tigers defeat the Georgia Bulldogs 42–10 in the SEC Championship Game. The Tigers would go on to lose 21–0 against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the BCS National Championship game with Beckham earned 38 yards with five receptions.[5]

He was awarded the Paul Hornung Award in 2013 as both a wide receiver and return specialist.[6]

On January 5, 2014, Beckham said that he was going to enter the 2014 NFL Draft.[7]

On May 8, 2014, the New York Giants drafted Beckham with the 12th pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.[8]

On October 5, 2014, Beckham made his NFL debut in a 30–20 win against the Atlanta Falcons, scoring his first NFL touchdown in the game.[9]

On November 23, 2014, during a game against the Dallas Cowboys, Beckham made a one-handed catch. It was called the catch of the year and is considered to be one of the greatest catches of all time.[10][11]

On March 13, 2019, the Giants traded Beckham along with Olivier Vernon to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Jabrill Peppers, Kevin Zeitler, and a first and third round pick from the Browns in the 2019 NFL Draft.[12]

On November 11, 2021, Beckham signed with the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent.[13] On February 13, 2022, Beckham and the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI.[14] He left in the second quarter of the game because he tore his ACL for the second time in his career.[15]

On April 9, 2023, Beckham signed a one-year; $18 million contract to play for the Baltimore Ravens.[16]
