Owen Garitty is an American entrepreneur, film director and producer, known as the founder of an Oregon-based creative studio, FPW Media.[1][2]
Career
[change | change source]Garitty started pursuing photography when he was a child and began working as a professional product photographer at the age of fifteen. In 2013, he founded FPW Media, a studio that creates media content and develops marketing strategies for clients. FPW Media gained attention and was named one of Adweek's 100 fastest-growing agencies in 2020 and 2022.[3]
In 2020, Garitty directed a documentary called Lionhearted, which tells the stories of veterans during and after the war, encouraging a platform for them to share their experiences.[4] He also produces the podcast series The Debrief with Jon Becker (2022).[5]
Garitty is a board member of Forests Today & Forever and contributes to the Media Arts Advisory Committee at Lane Community College and the Marketing Advisory Board for the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce. Since July 2019, he has been part of the Forbes Council.[6]
