Paul Varelans

Paul Varelans (September 17, 1969 – January 16, 2021) was an American mixed martial artist. He competed in Ultimate Fighting Championship from 1995 to 1996. He had a fixed match in Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1996. He was born in Sunnyvale, California.

In December 2020, Varelans was hospitalized with COVID-19 in Atlanta, Georgia and was put into an induced coma.[1] He died on January 16, 2021 from the infection at the age of 51.[2][3]
