Pithecopus oreades is a frog that lives in Brazil. It lives high in the hills. Scientists have seen it more than 900 meters above sea level.[3] Scientists have seen it up in the mountains, between 280 and 1000 meters above sea level.[1]

This frog lays eggs in streams, where the tadpoles swim in pools.[2]
