The Pont-Audemer Spaniel (or Epagneul Pont-Audemer in French) is a medium size, rare breed of gundog, belonging to the type called spaniels.[1]

These dogs were first bred for hunting in France in the 1800s.[2]

Colour[change | change source]

They are usually a dark brown colour called Liver[1]

Temper[change | change source]

Pont-Audemer Spaniels are usually gentle and easy to train, they are fun loving dogs and in France have the name "le petit clown des marais", which means "the little clown of the marshes".[3]
