Project Ara

Project Ara is the codename for an initiative by Google. It aims to develop a free, open hardware platform for making modular smartphones. Google says the phone is designed to be used by "six billion people". It will come in three sizes.[1] The project was announced by Google in October 2013. It is led by Paul Eremenko.[2]
