Rafi (political party)

Rafi was a Socialist political party in Israel. It was led by David Ben-Gurion and later Shimon Peres.

After Levi Eshkol became Prime Minister of Israel, Ben-Gurion left Mapai and started his own political party called Rafi with Shimon Peres and Moshe Dayan. After Ben-Gurion retired, Peres took over as the leader of Rafi.
