Rudolf Kirchschläger (German: [ˈʁuːdɔlf ˈkɪɐ̯çˌʃlɛːɡɐ] (About this soundlisten); 20 March 1915 – 30 March 2000) was an Austrian diplomat, politician and judge. From 1974 to 1986 he was the 8th President of Austria.

Kirchschläger died on 30 March 2000 near Vienna, aged 85.[1]
