The rufous-bellied thrush (Turdus rufiventris) is a songbird of the thrush family. It is found all over eastern South America. The bird is named after the color of its underparts. It is a common species of thrush within Brazil. It is the state bird of São Paulo, and is the national bird of Brazil since 2002.[2]
