Rupert Neve

Rupert Neve (born 31 July 1926) is a British electronics engineer and entrepreneur. He is known as a pioneering designer of professional audio recording equipment. He was born in Newton Abbot, England.[1] In 1997 he was the third person to receive a Technical Grammy Award.[2]

Neve is known for his work on microphone preamplifiers, equalizers, compressors and early large format mixing consoles.
