Sakigake

Sakigake (さきがけ) is the name of the a Japanese space probe which was sent on an interplanetary mission.[1]

The launch was a project of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of the University of Tokyo.

The satellite was launched on January 7, 1985.[2]
