Salwan Momika (born 23 June 1986) is a refugee from Iraq who criticizes Islam and is well known for burning the Qur'an in front of many people.[1] He was born a Christian in Iraq but says he is a atheist.[2] He came to Sweden after he fought against Daesh by joining the Popular Mobilization Forces.[3] There have been videos of him pledging allegiance to the Imam Ali Brigades, in military clothes.[4] He then said that was a soldier for a brigade called the Brigade of the Spirit of God Jesus, Son of Mary.[5]
