Sam Trickett was born on July 2, 1986 in East Retford, Nottinghamshire, England. He is a professional poker player from England. He is most famous for coming in second place to Antonio Esfandiari in the Big One for One Drop poker tournament, where he won more than $10 million. Right now, he's the twelfth highest-earning player in the history of poker tournaments.[1][2]

Up until February 15, 2019, Sam Trickett has made $20,849,721 from playing poker in live tournaments. He ranks 20th in the world and 2nd in England for the most money won in poker.[3]
