Sir Simon Richard Clarke (born 28 September 1984) is a British politician. He was the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities from 6 September to 25 October 2022. He served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2021 to 2022. A member of the Conservative Party, he has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland since the 2017 general election.
