Carlota Suzanne Osten (20 June 1944 – 28 October 2024) was a Swedish movie director, stage director, academic and screenwriter.[1] She won the award for Best Director at the 22nd Guldbagge Awards for the movie The Mozart Brothers.[2] Osten was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her career began in 1971.

Osten died on 28 October 2024, at a hospital in Stockholm from problems caused by heart surgery at the age of 80.[3]
