Swaroopanand Saraswati

Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati (2 September 1924 – 11 September 2022) was an Indian religious leader. In 1982, he became the Shankaracharya of Dwarka Sharada Peetham in Badrinath.[1][2] Saraswati was born in Seoni, then-British India.

Saraswati died on 11 September 2022 in Narsinghpur, India from a heart attack, nine days after his 98th birthday.[3]
