1. The flood of references in the first sentence screams of desperation.. More than one references would only be needed to defend a statement that is debatable. 2-3 would be used to prove a point that is likely to be disputed. 5 to confirm the person won a contest shows that you expect a huge dispute that it happened.. There is little doubt that this person was announced as the winner. One ref would ne fine.

2. The person won a pageant under the Miss America organization. Calling it a Miss America pageant, while technically correct as they own it, is a bit click baity with hints of sensationalism used to sell papers.

3. That is not what being transgender means.. Chaz Bono is transgender. He is not a woman.. To say that all transgender people are trans women is sexist..

4. Where this person went to college is a valid inclusion. The fact that they took a class.. no.

5. Does this person help young women feel more confident or is that the #movement?

6. Is it #QueensAreEverywhere movement or #Queens Forever Movement. With the change in words, spacing and caps, they are very different things. The first is from this persons Instagram, I didn't see the other in the references (tho I could be blind.. disability issues)

7. The title should not be italicized. Over all the sentence is a bit clunky

8. ... first ever local trans woman ... so were there non-local trans women to do this? "This was the first time a trans woman won a local pageant that was a part of the Miss America organization."

9. Not only should the name not be in italics again, it should not be in quotes. Also, what is the correct name as we get the 2023 at the start and the end of the title. Use the correct title of <title> in <year> (won the Miss Greater Dairy (sic) pageant in 2023) Yes, that spelling was copied directly from one of the references, at random actually... I didnt intend to pick that out and only noticed it after pasting is here. Pure Evil (talk) 23:47, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
