Could an expert on the topic add content to describe how and ecozone differs to an ecoregion, or otherwise highlight it as a synonym as most of the references seem to make mention of ecoregions. Also, why was ecozone chosen over ecoregion if they are synonyms given that most scientific sources seem to prefer ecoregion? An ecoregion is a smaller part of an ecozone. We go mainy with the WWF (World Wildlife Fund, or World Wide Fund for Nature) on this. The pages do explain this, actually. Macdonald-ross (talk) 20:22, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
