Suggestions to make better (without adding complexity)[change source]

  • "resulted to the separation or disintegration of all atoms in a chemical substance".
    Maybe one should say something like "... resulted in the (chemical) bonds between the atoms, no longer being there". Another thing: arguably the atoms were separated all along - fusion is one condition when they (arguably) are not separated.
    One simple way to say thing, may be: "... loss of bonds (or forces) that keep atoms joined to other atoms".
