Image pushing[change source]

There is no justifiable reason to push cross-wiki (including on WD) a rather unsharp 2010 703 × 1,036 150 KB cropped image of this actress, every time removing a 2022 1,238 × 1,651 816 KB photograph of much higher quality, depicting this person as she is nowadays instead of as she was twelve years ago. That has nothing to do with trying to use "flattering" photos, that is a pov - and essentially sexist - argument. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being 44 and looking like it. • This has absolutely nothing to do with being sexist!!!!! Already given my reasons many times. Nothing wrong with using an old photo Wikipedia biography has plenty of profile photos of actors from years earlier. As I previously stated, Wikipedia has no rule it has to be the most updated or high-resolution image of the person. I do not own the photo, I have no personal gain or alternative motive for using this photo other than I think it shows a more positive image of the actress. I don't see how you can apply connotations to either of these pictures. They're just profile pictures. There's no reason to edit war over them at all, just keep the old image. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 20:21, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • In order to stop all this nonsense, I'm will make compromise. All the pages me and Wutsje disagree with will revert to last revision before the edit warring began. Wikipedia simple will revert to 17 August 2022‎ by TDKR Chicago 101, main Wikipedia will revert to 31 October 2022‎ by 76.14.122.5, and Wikidata will revert to 24 October 2022 by‎ MatSuBot. This only apply to the images on the pages, not the info added to the article. I'm so done with this, just move on already people. Rootone (talk) 22:40, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
