"Supported by the G.I. Bill, this generation moved their families into the suburbs"[change source]

There was a G.I. Bill, and it included free tuition for college, for war veterans (from the United States).--Please, fork "suburbs" out of this sentence/period/idea - unless one has a reference (and writes a clear idea about what the reference is saying).--I am guessing that this is about economics: free college education, followed by upward (economic) mobility, and getting the finances to move to Suburbia. 2001:2020:32B:FDBD:E833:E56A:6F9D:1DBD (talk) 20:37, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion. This was kind of a long sentence. I rewrote it as "The G.I. Bill helped the many veterans in this generation. The government paid for their education in colleges, universities, and trade schools. It gave them loans for many purposes, and helped them buy houses. Because they were richer, many people in this generation moved their families into the suburbs." Lights and freedom (talk) 20:44, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
