Hello there, I recently made an edit which was reverted. In that context, I want to point out the following:

  • There is the Phrase de:Vernichtung lebensunwerten Lebens (en:Life unworthy of life) - As a phrase, it was coined in the early 1920s
  • See de:Krankenmorde in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus (sorry, no equivalence in English): Between 1933 and 1945, about 216.000 people were killed for this reason. Those killed were either deemed mentally ill, or sick. Of course all of these actions were backed by laws.
  • Not only Jews were targeted, Sinti and Roma were targets too
  • The first mention of "Holocaust" is around 1941, the actions I pointed out above are earlier

To my knowledge, the mechanisms of killing were the same for all groups. --Eptalon (talk) 19:36, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
