Native American studies[change source]

The article say she started the first NA studies program in the country and comes with a reference. Two problems here: En lists March 1970 Princeton as the first program and the reference provide is proving difficult to verify. The only google hits for "War Jack encourages youth" are this page and the user page it was first written at. There is no listed URL or other identifier for this reference. Because of this, I have tagged that sentence as in need of a valid reference.

I also went through and fixed the other references on the page. I would suggest using the cite tool on the visual editor. In automatic mode, it can properly format most references when giving a basic fact (URL for most web pages, ISSN for books or DOI for most other things like journals) There are some minor problems with it, but not many that could have a large effect on the article. It doesn't work on every reference, on rare occasions the reference still has to be done manually, but will usually keep the references consistent. An added note for references: the parameter url-status should only be used if the reference is an archived page. For the most part, it is best to not use it at all. --Creol(talk) 19:11, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
