  • It's wrong-headed to have this list, because:
  1. Latin name are unique, but
  2. Common names are multiple

This way round the list scarcely scratches the surface. Pages already have both English and Latin names linked, but what is often missed are the many common names in foreign languages. Toxicity is an absolute minefield with conifers and fungi. Latin names are more likely to define a species accurately than common names. Macdonald-ross (talk) 15:22, 11 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
