Hello, there. Please sign your posts on talk pages - in general.
I think we need to look at different things what talking about Palestine:
  • The territories claimed or occupied by people who call themselves Palestinians
  • Provinces/Protectorates/Mandates called Palestine
  • The cultural region generally referred to as Palestine
As anyone can edit here, I suggest you create an account, and fix the article. --Eptalon (talk) 14:43, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
It's hard for me to fix a debatable subject.
You saidf that when you search for Plestine, what you found here is not what you expected to find - So what did you expect to find? - And what is it exactly that is debatable, if this article on Palestine covers the British mandate (which ias one of the legitimate Palestines). --Eptalon (talk) 15:44, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the first comment .. this article is biased. Here are the points that I have found misleading:

1- Palestine is a country, not a territory or region like the article implies (the reason it is not recognized and the history of Palestinian - Israeli struggle can be found in this UN page:

 http://www.un.org/depts/dpa/ngo/history.html)

2- Palestinians are the people that belong to the country "Palestine", they are arabs and have lived in their land for as long as anyone has lived in their home countries. The state of Israel was established after Palestine (then colonized by the British) was handed to the Jews in what was known as the "Balfour declaration". The declaration was issued by the British government in 1917 and expresses support for "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people" [1].

3- Palestine today is not a state because after the declaration, the state of Israel was founded, and the palestinians (who were colonized by the British that handed the country over to the Jewish people) never got their independence. The state of Palestine that should be established if there is some peace agreement in the middle-east will only give Palestinians part of what is originally their land .. the part that is now Israel is unlikely to return as part of any peace agreement. palestinefacts.org[change source]

I've removed palestinefacts.org as a source. The site does not qualify as a reliable source. There are plenty of sites available with reliable information about Palestine. palestinefacts.org isn't one of them. Sean.hoyland (talk) 04:24, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Indeed, it does seem like a very biased website with a clear agenda. Thank you for pointing this out. Kansan (talk) 04:36, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
