As stated in the English version of this article, there is such thing as Religious paranoia. Therefore, it is wrong to say that one cannot be paranoid if their delusions are related to their religious belief. Additionally, I would suggest replacing the pronoun "He" to something neutral, like "they".

If a peson believes strongly that a religious group is "out to get him" against all the evidence to the contrary, that is religious paranoia. On the other hand, if a young person is raised in a closed religious group then is it natural that he believes what he is taught. That is not paranoia.
What a psychiatrist looks for is how a person adjusts his beliefs and attitudes when meeting evidence of various kinds. Paranoia requires "a thought process heavily influenced by anxiety or fear, to the point of irrationality and delusion". Macdonald-ross (talk) 17:04, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
