Unknown award

How is this award notable, referenced as it is only by IMDb (self-provided info)? An award is made notable by the people who award it. Are they as unknown as I think they are? "Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films" indeed. You might think they include the genuine greats who have created Star Wars and other epics. But they're complete unknowns. Why is this page here? Well, of course, it's here to give a tissue of vague support to not notable actors and technicians... My objection to this page and all others like it is that by their very existence they discredit the really good stuff in Wikipedia. I can't be as free as this on our formal page for RfD, but I just wanted to say that shoehorning in a weakly notable page in by flimsy sources really does damage us.
