Talk:Strong nuclear force
The Strong nuclear force is a proposed force of attraction that is supposed to attract nucleons of an atom towards other nucleons over a very narrow range of distances, which is approximately form 3 nucleon diameters down to less than 1 nucleon diameter and then disappear. It is intended to explain the ability of the proton to overcome the mutually repulsive forces proposed to exist between the positive electrostatically charged protons.WFPM (talk) 04:07, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
