Restoration[change source]

This and articles like it still lack sufficient notability if a mid-level medal is the basis. Offhand, I don't know how many who served with the German forces during WW2 received this medal, but nearly 100,000 American Army personnel received the Silver Star, at the time the 3rd highest US award. We certainly wouldn't have articles on all of them. Even the highest US award, the Medal of Honor, went to something less than 500 recipients. In that case we have a list article List of Medal of Honor recipients for World War II. Possibly a list of the recipients of Nazi Germany's highest award might be justified.
