Tasos Kourakis
Anastasios ("Tasos") Kourakis (Greek: Αναστάσιος (Τάσος) Κουράκης; 1948 − 10 October 2021) was a Greek pediatrician, geneticist and politician of the Coalition of the Radical Left (Syriza). Between 2007 until 2019, he was a member of the Hellenic Parliament. Between 2017 until 2019, he was Deputy Speaker. Kourakis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Kourakis died on 10 October 2021 in Thessaloniki from cancer at the age of 73.[1]
