Pembantu Letnan Satu (Purn) Tatang Koswara (12 December 1946 – 3 March 2015) was a sniper in the Indonesian Army. He was ranked the 14th best sniper in the world in the book Sniper Training, Techniques and Weapons (2000).

Tatang entered the army in 1966. He left the army in 1996. He was known for fighting in the East Timor war, in 1975 and 1976.[1]
