Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American rapper and singer better known by his stage name Tech N9ne (which was pronounced "tech nine").
He has been rapping since 1991 and has made 13 studio albums. He got his stage name from rapper Black Walt because of his fast rhyming style.[2]
He is mainly a hip hop artist and also raps in the horrorcore genre of music.
