Telangana Day, also known as Telangana Formation Day is a public holiday in the Indian state of Telangana. The holiday is to celebrate the creation of Telangana since it separated from Andhra Pradesh. It is celebrated every year on 2 June since 2014.[1][2][3] Celebrations take place in all 33 districts of the state.
