Usage
Template:ISO 639 name frp is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code frp, for example: {{Translated page |frp |name of page at Arpitan Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Arpitan Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Arpitan Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |frp}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|frp| some text in Arpitan}} wraps the text with <span lang="frp"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Arpitan-language text. Also available is {{Lang-frp |some text in Arpitan}} which displays as Arpitan: some text in Arpitan.
- {{R from other language|frp|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Arpitan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|frp}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Arpitan-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
