Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ilo is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ilo, for example: {{Translated page |ilo |name of page at Ilokano Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Ilokano Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Ilokano Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ilo}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ilo| some text in Ilokano}} wraps the text with <span lang="ilo"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ilo to include articles in Category:Articles containing Ilokano-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |Ilokano |ilo}}). Also available is {{Lang-ilo |some text in Ilokano}} which displays as Ilocano: some text in Ilokano.
- {{R from other language|ilo|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Ilokano-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ilo}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Ilokano-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
