Template:ISO 639 name kbd is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code kbd, for example: {{Translated page |kbd |name of page at Kabardian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Kabardian Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Kabardian Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |kbd}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|kbd| some text in Kabardian}} wraps the text with <span lang="kbd"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Kabardian-language text. Also available is {{Lang-kbd |some text in Kabardian}} which displays as Kabardian: some text in Kabardian.
- {{R from other language|kbd|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Kabardian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|kbd}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Kabardian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
