Usage

This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

It is used by the template {{Lang}} with language code kk to include articles in Category:Articles containing Kazakh-language text. For example: {{Lang |kk |some text in Kazakh}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="kk">. Also available is {{Lang-kk |some text in Kazakh}} which displays as Kazakh: some text in Kazakh.

It is used by {{kk icon}} and {{Link language|kk}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Kazakh-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=kk |name=Kazakh}}).
