Usage
Template:ISO 639 name uk is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code uk, for example: {{Translated page |uk |name of page at Ukrainian Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Ukrainian Wikipedia and to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Ukrainian Wikipedia.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|uk| some text in Ukrainian}} wraps the text with <span lang="uk"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Ukrainian-language text. Also available is {{Lang-uk |some text in Ukrainian}} which displays as Ukrainian: some text in Ukrainian.
- {{R from other language|uk|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Ukrainian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|uk}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Ukrainian-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
