The Capital

The Capital is a daily newspaper published in Annapolis since 1884. Its sister newspaper, The Gazette, is one of the oldest newspapers in America.

The Capital serves the city of Annapolis, much of Anne Arundel County, and neighboring Kent Island in Queen Anne's County.[1] The Capital was bought by The Baltimore Sun Media Group in 2014.[2]
