The Jeffersons
The Jeffersons is an American situation comedy starring Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford. It is about a well to do African-American family who live in a high-rise luxury apartment in Manhattan, New York City. The series was first broadcast on CBS and T.A.T. Communications Company, from January 18, 1975 to July 2, 1985. It is one of the longest-running television series in television history.
