Throne of Blood (蜘蛛巣城, Kumonosu-jō, "Spider Web Castle") is a 1957 Japanese historical drama movie directed by Akira Kurosawa and based on the William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. It stars Toshiro Mifune, Isuzu Yamada, Takashi Shimura, Akira Kubo, Kokuten Kōdō and was distributed by Toho.
