Noriaki Kubo (久保 宣章, Kubo Noriaki, born June 26, 1977), better known as Tite Kubo, is a Japanese manga artist and character designer. He is best known for creating the manga series Bleach. He has also created the series Zombiepowder. and Burn the Witch.

He first started writing for Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1996. His first manga was Zombiepowder, which he released through Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999.[1]

His most popular manga Bleach was released in 2001. It would go on to have 698 chapters and ran in serialization from 2001 until 2016. It is one of the best-selling manga in history.[2] It won a Shogakukan Manga Award in 2004.[3] It also had a very popular anime adaption which had 366 episodes and ran from 2004 until March 7, 2012.[4]

During the 2012 Jump Festa convention, Kubo announced that he had gotten married.[5]
